Grapes from Texas High Plains, these grapes orginate from the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo- a red Italian wine made from the Montepulciano wine grape in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy. Try Texas grown version of this lovely dry, medium bodied wine. Montepulciano fills the senses with aromas of ripe plum, pipe tobacco and vanilla. Rich flavors of blackberry, black cherry and a hint of spice please the palate. The balanced acidity of this wine pairs with savory dishes.
